Definitely won't be back to this clinic. I came in to get my hormone levels checked and the doctor did not listen to anything I had to say. She told me she wanted me to get my thyroid checked and that checking my hormones would be a waste of time and money. I told her that I just had my thyroid checked and it was good. She then tells me she wants to add another prescription which wasn't even a prescription I should be taking. The entire appointment was 1.5 hours and I probably talked to her for a whole 10 minutes. Don't recommend this place at all.

I had specifically asked to NOT have a male doctor as I have a history of sexual violence and coming in to get my IUD removed was already extremely stressful to me. When I came in they had me down to get a Nexplanon removed (which I have never had) so both the nurse and doctor were confused. I had a female resident come in with a male doctor. I tried to explain to both of them how distressing this was to me and both seemed to get stuck on “it doesn’t hurt as bad getting it taken out as it does putting it in.” The resident doctor had an issue finding my IUD and ended up crying/panicking and accidentally kicking the resident in the head because I got up extremely fast after they finally removed it. The resident doctor was extremely unempathetic and seemed ‘over’ the whole situation. The male doctor, for what it’s worth, did seem to be more concerned that I was so panicked. Either way I would NEVER come back here. I should have advocated for myself in the moment but I shouldn’t have had to as I had made my needs clear when scheduling my appointment. These people either don’t care or have very poor communication among staff members.

Appointment at 2:15 was still waiting in lobby at 2:55. Never fails that you arrive on time and wait another hour to be seen and when you get to a room it takes another 30min-40min but if you arrive 15 min late they refuse to take you and ask you to reschedule. MAKE THAT MAKE SINCE!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place feels nothing more than a birth control pill mill. I strongly suggest never going here if you have endometriosis or need an official diagnosis. The nurses are great but the doctors are dismissive. Any issue you have, birth control is their solution. Even when you explicitly tell them no birth control or hormone therapy. If your insurance covers it, I strongly recommend advanced women's healthcare in Bloomington.

I missed a call from this clinic and I called back shortly after. The reception said that a nurse needed to speak with me and would call back soon. I never received another call, and headed to my appointment. It had been cancelled. I don’t understand why the reception desk wouldn’t tell me that when I called. The reception had me talk to a nurse on the phone while I was standing in the middle of the lobby. The nurse did not want to dig through my chart so I had to answer questions about my procedure and medications in front of other receptionists and patients. The nurse I spoke to was rude and snappy. It had been a difficult day trying to prepare myself for my procedure, and my partner took time off work to drive me. It was all for nothing. All I really needed was some compassion instead of being snapped at. This clinic’s daily operations and communication seem disorganized at best.
